ARN Media has settled its Federal Court battle with Kyle Sandilands, agreeing to pay the radio host $12.09 million to resolve all outstanding claims.
The radio network announced the binding settlement on Tuesday, ending a legal dispute that had been playing out in the Federal Court.
ARN will pay $3 million in July 2026, with the balance paid monthly until June 2029.
Sandilands will not provide services to ARN in any capacity going forward, and is barred from working with ARN's direct competitors until March 2027, a restraint of up to nine months from settlement.
Sandilands also advised ARN he intends to pursue independent media opportunities.
The deal includes some ongoing commercial ties with ARN also providing Sandilands with $1.5 million in advertising on its partner platforms over three years to support his planned independent venture.
ARN also negotiated a 19.9% net revenue share from that venture for up to three years, subject to revenue thresholds.
ARN CEO Michael Stephenson welcomed the settlement.
"This agreement brings certainty for ARN and resolves the legal dispute,” he said.
"ARN remains focused on executing its strategy, including driving a leaner, more efficient operating model, strengthening its core radio network and continuing to invest in digital capabilities and long-term growth."
The dispute began at the start of the year when an on-air clash saw Henderson tell ARN she could no longer work with Sandilands.
ARN terminated both contracts, citing serious misconduct by Sandilands. Both sued.
Sandilands took the matter to the Federal Court in March, alleging the termination was invalid and unconscionable under Australian Consumer Law. ARN disputed the claims and said it would defend the proceedings.
Separate proceedings involving Jackie Henderson remain ongoing.
