ZO hunts out a head of search

Mindshare's former head of search has moved across to ZenithOptimedia into a newly-created role as head of search.

Geraldine McDonagh, who was national head of search and biddable media at Mindshare, will work across ZenithOptimedia and Performics clients.

Ros Allison, head of digital at ZenithOptimedia, said: “We believe that marketing is about motivating participation and enabling brand and content discovery. Search is at the heart of the participant journey, and so finding the right talent for this role is critical to us.

“Geraldine shares our passion for participation marketing, and has a strong track record of creating performance media and performance content for clients.”

McDonagh said: “I’m really interested in ZenithOptimedia’s vision for communication in an open world, and the opportunity to create and motivate participation through technology.”
