The Bully Zero Australia Foundation as brought to light a very visual take on the dangers of online bullying in a new campaign.
 
The TV commerical, created by Magnum Opus Advertising and Visualkin, is designed to raise awareness of cyber bullying. Despite its less immediate physical impact, the ad delivers a high impact and not-much-talked about message: 'Cyberbullying hurts too'.

“Cyber bullying is growing in prevalence and can be just as harmful – perhaps even more so – than actions which we would all recognise as more traditional bullying in the playground," said Pat Langton, creative director at Magnum Opus. "The nature of social media means that untruths and persecution can thoughtlessly spread like wildfire within a school or suburban community, and can result in distress, isolation, and even, tragically, self-harm and suicide.

“This is just one small step to stress to the target audience that bullying in any form is very much not OK under any circumstances.”
