How do you get your wife to let you to go on holidays with your mates? Carlton Mid has the answer in its latest campaign from Clemenger BBDO Melbourne.

The spot features a couple relaxing on holiday, having a drink by the pool when the man surprisingly sees his mate and his partner. They then see another mate with his partner and so on. What a great 'coincidence' that they're all on holidays together.

Carlton's General marketing manager, Andrew Meldrum said “There isn’t a man in Australia who doesn’t wish they could get more time with their mates but it’s getting tougher these days. As a mid-strength beer, Carlton Mid is all about helping you stay a little longer. Hopefully Australian blokes will appreciate our heroes’ ingenious take on getting a bit more time with their mates."
