We've all been there - pretending to love Christmas gifts we'd sooner bin. Thankfully, a six-pack of Heineken is on hand to save Benicio del Toro's day.

Hollywood star Benicio del Toro puts his acting skills to good use each Christmas.

The Puerto Rican actor regularly receives terrible gifts and needs to fake his delight at this annual present giving charade in the latest instalment of Heineken's More Behind The Star campaign by Publicis Worldwide.

In this Christmas spot, Traditions, he pretends to like a terrible Christmas jumper, questions what a guitar shaped gift could possible be and says he loves a blender.

This predictably leads up to a gift of Heineken, which he doesn't need to pretend to love, particularly as he got it for himself.

The spot is light-hearted and a moment that most people who have gone through the tradition of Christmas gift giving will relate to.

AdNews just hopes del Toro put a little bit more effort in his new role in Star Wars VII that is set to hit cinemas later this year.
