What's worth more than gold and platinum? An ingot (which is, apparently, what one of those bar things are called) made from the metal leftover from the AFL Premiership Cup.
When the Premiership Cup is made, a portion of the metal used (42.2 grams) remains and what's forged is up for grabs by the highest bidder. It needs to fetch a price of more than $2,113 to be worth more than gold or platinum. The proceeds will go to youth homelessness charity Ladder.
