Nike has kicked off a social media campaign to get 100 people to run their first marathon.

Devised by With Collective, the "V100" campaign will cover training costs and entry fees for 100 participants ahead of the Sydney Marathon in September.

The social media push is set to expand in 2012 to 1000 participants across Sydney, Melbourne, the Gold Coast and Auckland.
