In an attempt to reduce the high number of injuries on construction sites across Victoria, WorkSafe Victoria has launched a digital campaign for tradies.

Tradies are encouraged to take part in a six-week quiz that can be completed on their smartphones. The quiz tests tradies on their football and safety knowledge.

Participants have the opportuntity to win footy tickets, Xboxes and vouchers with a grand prize of corporate hospitality tickets to one of the biggest footy games of the season.

WorkSafe chief executive Denise Cosgrove said “The Top Tradie Cup is definitely fun but it does have a serious purpose. We know that creating a safety culture encourages behaviour change which will ultimately lead to fewer workers being injured.”
