The zombies are coming and the countdown is on. Paramount Pictures has launched an out-of-home campaign with digital timers counting down to the release of World War Z.

The electronic billboards appeared in Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide to build anticipation for the launch of the film.

MEC's Leane Pattinson said “Paramount Pictures’ World War Z campaign is a great example of creative use of out-of-home. To give Australia an idea of what to expect from the film, we used Outdoor because it helps to convey the sheer magnitude of the film with its size and scale and the special build timers reflect the core theme of the film; time is running out.”
