You may not have heard of Daiso yet but the Japanese discount store (where everything costs $2.80) plans to change that with the start of a new national campaign.

A new Australian website is the first phase to expand the brand nationally.

Tribal DDB Melbourne’s general manager, Ben Kidney said “Daiso is an extremely interesting brand that we can do so much for online, I believe Daiso can be one of the most interesting retail brands in the country. They are truly interested in innovative digital work and we can’t wait to implement the strategy that we have developed across multiple consumer touch points.”
