Random House wants you to give the gift of literature. How? With a specifically designed dust jacket which transforms new books into a parcel.

Once the book is read, the reader simply turns the dust jacket inside out and it turns into a pre paid parcel that gets sent directly to The Footpath Library, a charity that provides books for homeless and disadvantaged Australians.

Founder of The Footpath Library, Sarah Garnett said “It’s important for our readers to receive books before they are old or broken. When you don’t have very much, the gift of a beautiful book reminds you that you are connected to the world and that the world cares.”
