Mastercard has launched a TV ad for PayPass aimed at busy mums. The spot features a little pirate, a man with an eye patch and a mum who can't get out of the supermarket quick enough.

The campaign explores the reality that there are moments as a parent when an extra minute could mean disaster and using PayPass can get you on the road that little bit faster.

McCann Australia's executive creative director, John Mescall said “What happens when you take a young kid with a sword, an old bloke with an eye-patch, and a mum with a Mastercard and put them all together in the same ad? This.”

The initiative will be supported by out-of-home.
