In an attempt to fill 30,000 new jobs in the NSW disability sector, the state government has launched a campaign that highlights the need for support in this department.

National Disability Services NSW State Manager Scott Holz said "We know that just over 30,000 people currently work to support people with disability. Under the NDIS the focus is on staff delivering front line services. We can reasonably expect the workforce to expand to support the large number of new service users. A conservative estimate would be that 30,000 new positions will be created.

"Today we are launching an advertising blitz aimed to encourage NSW residents to consider a job in the community care sector. The suite of carecareers ads promotes these rewarding careers."
