When it comes to olive oil, fresher, healthier and tastier is better. And Australian is the best. Naturally, that's the thrust of the new Australian Olive Association campaign. It's been lobbying for imported imported olive oils to comply with the Australian Standard for two years, but now the AOA has taken matters into its own hands.

With the European Union admitting that olive oil is susceptible to fraud, with some suppliers mixing in cheaper oils, substituting one type of oil for another and passing it off as permium extra virgin olive oil, the AOA has had enough. It's telling the nation to buy Australian so that they know what they are getting is the good stuff.

Hub Group made the campaign, which launched this month across television, radio, press, social and digital.
