Whisky brand Canadian Club will tomorrow launch a campaign called 'Beer Fairies' parodying 'beer guzzling Australians', led by a series of television spots voiced by writer and actor John Cleese.
Created by The Works, the campaign is an extension of its 'Over Beer?' campaign, and aims to further establish Canadian Club's 'refreshing alternative' brand positioning. The campaign will also feature a Facebook competition that asks consumers to 'Join the Hunt' for Beer Fairies, offering $100,000 worth in instant prizes. It will launch nationally 1 May 2012.
