5) Mazda 3 cinema game

Smart integrations with mobile and cinema advertising have been scarce. This example from Canada for the release of the new Mazda 3 is a fun way to gain the audience’s attention even if the actual number of players is fewer.

4) Book World gives back

Reading a book will always be better than reading off a screen. This neat little campaign from Book World shows you don’t need Amazon quadcopters to deliver books, a shelf does just fine.

3) Coke stops advertising to support the Philippines.

2) Homeland torrent advertising

Homeland takes two weeks to be aired in Poland after it premieres in the US. This has led many fans to pirating the program with Polish subtitles. To promote a prequel novel to the show the publisher advertised within the subtitles of the torrented episodes. 2014, the year of torrent advertising – ‘Torrentising’. You heard it here first.

Number 1) Insomy Coffee by Canalplay

Canalplay is a subscription streaming service for film and TV. Due to their monthly payment, unlimited viewing model they knew that their customers were always trying to get the most value from their subscription. They realised that all their customers could get more out of their subscription if they could just avoid sleeping and so they came up with a solution. Insomy Coffee is a range of coffee that comes as beans or ground, designed specifically to keep you up all night watching your favourite content.

Another big week of awesome. As always if we have missed anything or you have suggestions for next week shoot them across to our Twitter handles.
