Australian law firm Slater & Gordon has appointed M&C Saatchi Melbourne as its creative agency after a four way pitch.

The appointment comes about two years after the law firm appointed bCreative as its agency following a competitive shootout.

At the time, the company also appointed MediaCom Melbourne as its media agency after a concurrent pitch. MediaCom remains the media agency of note for Slater & Gordon.

M&C Saatchi Melbourne managing director Jo Rozario said, “Slater & Gordon is an iconic law firm, one of the largest, most established and highly regarded in Australia with plans for UK growth.

“We are thrilled and excited to be chosen as a partner to help them realise the many goals they have for their brand.”

Slater & Gordon general manager of marketing and business development Kalle Amanatides said, “They put forward a compelling case that comprised some very strong creative ideas inspired by an extremely well-considered, well-researched strategy.”

Slater & Gordon was founded in 1935, and has over 1000 staff in around 61 locations in Australia.

The firm recently announced its plans to acquire RJW Lawyers in the UK.
