Online betting company Betstar has appointed Whybin TBWA Melbourne as its creative agency after a pitch.
Previously, the brand worked with Melbourne agency Sputnik, which it appointed last year following a five-agency pitch.
Whybin has been appointed as agency of record as the brand looks to grow its member base and create brand awareness. This follows a period of initial growth, following the company’s launch five years ago.
The creative agency has already begun generating work for the brand, with campaigns planned for the first quarter of this year.
Betstar managing director Alan Eskander said, “In the highly competitive wagering market it’s important to have an innovative and passionate creative partner, I feel we have found this with Whybin.”
Whybin TBWA Melbourne managing director Mark Watkin said, “We’re delighted to be working with Alan (Eskander) and the team at Betstar.
“There’s a real desire for success and the chemistry across the team has been great from the start. We’re looking forward to helping Betstar grow and develop their brand.”
MediaCom is Betstar's meida buying agency of record.
