Nick McKenzie joins Caxtons line-up

Fairfax journalist Nick McKenzie will be a guest speaker at the upcoming 2012 Caxton Awards, joining the likes of Andy Lark and Joe Hildebrand.

McKenzie, who writes for The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald, has been awarded the Walkey Award for journalism three times and periodically appears on ABC's Four Corners.

The Caxtons Awards will be held between 12-14 October at Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays.

He is set to join a number of Australian speakers at the awards including media personality and Daily Telegraph journalist Joe Hildebrand, and Commonwealth Bank chief marketing and online officer Andy Lark. PHD Australia strategy director Chris Stephenson and Special Group creative director Tony Bradbourne will also take the stage.

The full line-up of local speakers will be released next week.

The Caxtons' international keynote speaker is Goodby, Silverstein & Partners founding partner Jeff Goodby and managing partner Derek Robson. TBWA Worldwide global director Lee Chow is expected to make a 'virtual' appearence at the awards.
