M&C Saatchi's Welsh and Havas' Coll join ACES awards jury

Top creatives Ben Welsh and Steve Coll will be running the rule over adland's best TV and cinema campaigns ahead of the March Aces. Val Morgan's bi-annual awards remain open for entries for another eight days.

Welsh, executive creative director at M&C Saatchi and Steve Coll, executive creative directorat Havas have racked up more than a 100 awards between them, so have a reasonable idea of what award-winning work looks like. They join BWM creative boss Rob Belgiovane, AdNews editor-in-chief Paul McIntyre and Val Morgan Brandfit creative services manager Philipa Murphy on the panel.

Val Morgan managing director Dan Hill said Welsh and Coll's "experience and insight will make for remarkable judging. The ACES continue to grow as a result of the high caliber of entries. We have some excellent entries submitted already and we are looking forward to receiving more".

Australian produced creative that has run on either TV or Cinema in the past six months is eligible for entry. The winner lands a $25,000 Cinema media schedule, the prestigious ACE of Excellence and a gold class screening. The winner and top ten finalists are awarded points for AdNews Agency Rankings.

Entries close 28 February, with the winner announced at the ACES showcase on Wednesday 19 March at Dendy Opera Quays, Sydney.
