By AdNews | 13 September 2012

Today is your last chance to enter this year's Australian Magazine Awards (AMA), with entries closing tomorrow 14 September.

Aiming to recognise and celebrate titles that perform at the highest levels for publishers and advertisers, the Australian Magazine Awards is the country's leading program in its sector.

Established in 2009, the categories are primarily based on existing data from Roy Morgan and the Audit Bureau of Australia. However, magazines can also enter into the Custom, Website, App and Event categories.

The program also has a Hall of Fame category which inducts a new industry figure each year. Previous inductees are John Southern, Bernard Leser and Matt Handbury.

Final judging is undertaken by a panel of media buyers in October, with the winners set to be announced at a ceremony at Sydney's Museum of Contemporary Art on Thursday 1 November. Tickets go on sale shortly.

Last year's winner of the Magazine of the Year was NewsLifeMedia's Vogue Australia.
