The Caxtons 2012.

This year the Caxtons will allow delegates to interact with industry heavyweights Lee Clow and Jeff Goodby, thanks to the inception of the 'Creative Legend' session.

The session will see TBWA/Worldwide chairman and global director Lee Clow make a virtual appearence on stage via a live stream while Goodby Silverstein & Partners co-founder Jeff Goodby will be present in person. The two will be in direct discussion with each other and the audience.

The pair will discuss some of their career highlights, including Clow's collaboration with the late Steve Jobs on Apple's successful '1984' campaign. Goodby, the award's keynote speaker, will also address the crowd in an individual session.

Delegates are invited to submit their questions for Clow and Goodby via email.

The Caxtons Awards will be held between 12-14 October at Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays.

A host of Australian media personalities are set to speak, including Fairfax journalist Nick McKenzie, Daily Telegraph journalist Joe Hildebrand and Commonwealth Bank chief marketing and online officer Andy Lark. PHD Australia strategy director Chris Stephenson and Special Group creative director Tony Bradbourne will address the crowd.

The Caxtons is an annual celebration of creative excellence in advertising across newspaper platforms in Australia and New Zealand. Print, online, mobile and tablet platforms are encompassed in the awards.
