Alcohol group Brown-Forman Australia has appointed Webling Interactive as its digital agency across its portfolio of developing brands including Chambord.

Webling won the account following a pitch against an undisclosed number of agencies. Webling will work across digital strategy, web presence, social media, mobile campaigns, apps, eDMs, eCRM and digital crisis management.

Brown-Forman's developing brands portfolio includes Chambord, Tuaca Liquer, El Jimador Tequila, Herradura Tequila, Woodford Reserve Whiskey and Appleton Estate Jamaican Rum.

Brown-Forman digital marketing manager Justine Read said: "We are taking digital channels such as social media and mobile very seriously both for our consumer and trade communications and marketing, and we are committed to bringing in the best of breed specialists into our mix of partner agencies."

Webling Interactive managing director Deniz Nalbantoglu said: "We are very excited about the opportunities these great brands offer for the digital channels, and we are looking forward to working closely with Brown-Forman on exciting campaigns while appreciating the great product range range, responsibly of course."

Last month, Brown-Forman hired STW-owned shop Tribe as its shopper marketing agency on its Jack Daniels brand.

Webling Interactive's clients include Coles, Palmolive, Coca-Cola Amatil and Macquarie Bank.
