SYDNEY: Brand consultancy Interbrand has appointed Mike Rigby and Andrew Droog as creative director and design director respectively.

The duo have joined the Sydney office from the UK.

Rigby has worked at several top ten UK design agencies, including True North, Pentagram London and The Chase, as well as Landor Sydney working on clients such as The Tate Gallery, The National Portrait Gallery and News Limited. His recent projects include work for Westfield, Adidas, Durham University and Grant Thornton International.

Droog has worked at B&W Studio and Brahm Design where he had international experience working across brands including Republic, Perspex and Seven. He was awarded Best of Show at this year's UK Design Week Awards for homeless charity St George's Crypt and was included in the Design Week Hall of Fame.

Interbrand creative director Chris Maclean said the duo would add a "new dimension" to the agency's creative team.

“Not only do they both bring strong international experience to the table but they are motivated by ideas driven, beautiful design that solves business problems for our clients."
