Scenic Group has expanded its agreement with Thump Media to include performance digital media across Australia and New Zealand.
The partnership, which began in 2021, will now cover brand and performance activity across Scenic’s cruise and escorted land journey brands.
The two have worked together on integrated campaigns spanning TV, print, digital and audio, including activity around the Getaway program, the arrival of Scenic Eclipse II in the Pacific region and the launch of Scenic Ikon.
Anthony Laver, general manager sales and marketing APAC at Scenic Group, said the agency had become embedded in the business.
“The professional Thump Media team has aligned closely with the strategic planning and growth of our business, becoming a key extension of our marketing team.
“By expanding their remit to include Performance Digital Media, this enables Thump Media to better develop, implement and measure all aspects of the Scenic Group paid media sales and marketing programs, across the luxury Scenic and Emerald Cruises and Tours brands,” Laver said.
Thump Media director Chris Franke told AdNews the broader remit builds on the existing relationship.
“We are very excited to have expanded our remit with Scenic Group in Australia, across all of their brands, to now include all performance media,” he said.
“For more than five years we have worked as an extension of the Scenic Group team, managing their above the line traditional media.
“We are very excited about deepening that relationship further with this additional scope,” Franke said.
