The Federal Government-owned Museum of Australian Democracy has invited 15 agencies to join its digital panel following a four-month review process.
The museum has split the panel into four sections: digital strategy, digital producers, web developers and digtal advertising. Seven agencies have already signed contracts, while the museum is waiting for responses from eight other agencies.
George Patterson Y&R and DraftFCB have signed contracts to work on digital strategy, while the museum is waiting on a response from one other agency.
Next Digital and Visual Jazz have been brought onto the panel as digital producers, while another two undisclosed agencies have also been invited.
Komosion is sitting on the panel as a web developer, while another two agencies are still expected to respond.
Meanwhile, five digital advertising agencies have been invited to sit on the panel. Three of a Kind and Zoo Communications have accepted invitations to join the panel, while the museum awaits a reply from three other digital agencies.
These agencies will be available to every division within the museum, including the marketing, website and exhibition divisions. Digital work is not expected to be rolled out until mid-way through 2011.
The agencies will not be placed on the general government roster, known as the "Communications Multi-Use List". In July, the museum issued a tender through AusTender.
