Mindshare has won Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) media account from Bohemia, following a competitive pitch. The fast food chicken group includes Red Rooster, Oporto and Chicken Treat, AdNews can reveal.

AdNews understands the decision was announced on Monday after a lengthy review that has run for just under six months.

QSR operates 560 restaurants across Australia under its three brands and serves 150,000 people every day.

The major spender within the group is Red Rooster, which had an ad spend of $5.6 million in the past year, according to Nielsen figures. Oporto spent $1.2 million and Chicken Treat spent $590,000.

QSR is the latest account to leave Bohemia in a year marked by exiting business. In July, Vodafone moved to GroupM, which created the Team Red unit for the telco, while Lion moved its media account to UM in June.
