Clemenger BBDO Brisbane has hired Andy Geppert as its head of art, following a number of account wins at the agency.

Geppert has more than 15 years of experience in advertising including most recently at Publicis Mojo where he was senior art director. He also previously worked at McCann and Cummins&Partners.

Geppert is also a storyteller and illustrator, with his book 'Meep' shortlisted for the 2016 Australian Children's Book of the Year.

His appointment follows several account wins from Clemenger Brisbane including TransLink and BCF Boating Camping and Fishing.

In his new role, Geppert will be teaming up with senior writer Christie Meehan. He replaces Terry Whidborne, who is departing after winning a Screen Australia/Canada Media Fund grant.

It follows a senior management reshuffle at the Brisbane shop, which saw GPY&R's Rod Hudson join Clemenger as MD, replacing Vanessa Brennan who left to join PwC.
