Amnesia Razorfish has appointed Ben Hourahine, former strategy director at Moon Communications, to lead the agency's strategy team.

Hourahine will work with all of the agency's clients, including Microsoft and Aussie Home Loans. Originally from the UK, Hourahine worked at Leo Burnett London for three years, overseeing its strategic futures team.

At Leo Burnett, Hourahine worked on clients including McDonald's, Guinness, and video game developer and publisher Eidos.

Hourahine said: “Our vision is to invent the digital future and that’s underscored all the work I’ve done to date. The future of marketing isn't about what we should communicate, it's about what we should do, what we should do to drive a client’s business forward, and that's what the strategy group will be focusing on.

“At Amnesia Razorfish we have a unique ability to deliver integrated strategies to clients, across paid, owned and earned media, and that’s really exciting for me."

Hourahine joins creative director Iain McDonald, managing director Michael Buckley, social media director and head of business development, Jennie Bewes, and operations manager Juan Deniz on the Amnesia Razorfish management board. He starts immediately.
