Order-now-for-Christmas company Chrisco has appointed independent digital agency thinktonic its digital media agency across Australia and New Zealand following a competitive review.
The appointment will see thinktonic lead Chrisco's digital media strategy, planning and buying, as the business continues connecting with families planning ahead for Christmas and other special occasions.
For more than four decades, Chrisco has helped families spread the cost of the festive season, giving customers a practical way to budget ahead and reduce the financial pressure that often accompanies Christmas.
Chief commercial officer Ann-Marie Hoy said thinktonic's strategic approach and performance expertise made the agency the right partner to support the brand's next phase of digital growth.
"We were looking for a partner that understands both our business and our customers. thinktonic demonstrated a clear strategic approach to digital growth, and we're looking forward to working together to continue helping families across Australia and New Zealand plan ahead for the festive season," she said.
Emma Zrnic, managing partner at thinktonic, said the partnership reflected a shared commitment to delivering value for families on both sides of the Tasman.
"Chrisco has built an incredibly strong brand by helping families plan ahead for some of life's most important moments. At a time when household budgets remain under pressure, that proposition is more relevant than ever," she said.
Matthew Kitchener, managing partner at thinktonic, said the agency's focus would be on delivering measurable commercial outcomes through a data-led approach to digital media.
"Chrisco already has a trusted brand and a compelling proposition. Our focus is on helping more families discover it through smarter digital media that delivers measurable business growth," he said.
