OMD Australia has appointed Amanda Watts as chief operating officer and Daniel Clark as managing director of OMD Sydney, effective immediately.
Watts moves into the newly created national role from managing director of OMD Sydney, a position she held for several years. She has more than 19 years' experience across Australia and Asia.
Clark steps up from managing partner to lead OMD Sydney.
OMD Australia CEO Sian Whitnall said the appointments completed the agency's new executive bench.
"These appointments mark the completion of OMD's new executive bench,” Whitnall said.
“We have built a team that combines operational and craft excellence, with a clear license to rewrite the rules through modern media creativity, all underpinned by a strong, connected culture our people can rally around.”
Watts said her focus would be on aligning the business behind OMD's strategy.
"I've always loved bringing order to complexity, aligning teams around a common goal and helping turn ideas into action. My focus will be on leading the operational execution of OMD's strategic vision, ensuring alignment across our people, communication, commercial priorities and transformation agenda," she said.
Clark said he wanted to build on OMD Sydney's track record.
"It's truly a privilege to be leading the incredible OMD Sydney team. This is an iconic office built on a strong culture and a legacy of award-winning work for our clients," he said.
