Seven has locked in key brand partners for its live, free and exclusive coverage of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, opening this Friday at 4.45am.

AAMI, Harvey Norman, Woolworths, Hancock Prospecting and Kidman join as principal sponsors, with Chemist Warehouse and Bupa as major integrated brands.

Seven's coverage will broadcast in prime time from 7pm each night, running through to 7.30am across all 10 days, with a projected reach of more than 12 million Australians across TV and 7plus Sport.

Glasgow 2026 brings together 3,000 athletes from 74 nations across 10 days and 133 sessions, with 215 gold medals across 10 sports including six Para sports.

Katie Finney, Seven national television sales director, said few events in the Australian sporting calendar offered the combined scale of broadcast, audio, live and on-demand content available across this partnership.

"Locking in partners of this calibre for Glasgow 2026 reflects the confidence brands have in live sport as a marketing investment right now," she said.

Mim Haysom, AAMI executive general manager, brand and customer experience, said the partnership would shine a light on the supporters behind every competing athlete through AAMI's Sideline Champions program.

"Through Sideline Champions, AAMI is proud to shine a light on the parents, family members, friends, coaches and supporters whose encouragement, belief and sacrifice play such an important role in every athlete's journey," she said.
