Digitas Australia has appointed Jack Delmonte executive creative director.
Based in Sydney, Delmonte returns to the Publicis Groupe network where he began his career at Publicis Mojo.
He previously worked as group creative director for VML, for Dentsu Creative ANZ and creative roles at Havas Host and Clemenger BBDO.
Davy Rennie, CEO at Digitas, said the appointment reflects the agency’s commitment to creativity as a lever of business transformation.
“We believe growth is driven through Connected Experiences, creativity always has and always will play a central role in creating ideas that connect with humans,” said Rennie.
“Jack will work closely with our intelligence and technology teams to ensure ideas are intelligence-led, and culturally impactful. He has a resume of work that is both creatively ambitious and commercially effective.
“We have long admired his portfolio, and impact on the industry, and he will raise the bar internally and externally.
“His vision aligns strongly with our intent to create culture-leading work that drives tangible growth for our clients. We are stoked to welcome him to the Unicorn Stable.”
He brings more than 15 years of agency experience and a proven track record of delivering award-winning creative work.
With Digitas focused on helping clients unlock commercial growth and cultural relevance through data-led creativity, Delmonte will bring together real intelligence and creativity to craft ideas that connect across the entire customer growth loop.
“No one can predict exactly what the future of advertising will look like, but Digitas is exceptionally well positioned to help shape it,” Delmonte said.
“What impressed me most was the depth of intelligence they have around how Australians live, move and make decisions. Pair that with an incredibly talented group of creative people, and it becomes a hard proposition to beat.”
“Digitas is building a spaceship, and I am humbled and grateful for a helmet.”
