Yango has won the media account for Farizon's Australian launch, with the agency to handle strategy, planning and buying for Geely's electric commercial vehicle brand.
Jameel Motors, the Australian distributor for Farizon, appointed the independent agency following their work together on the recent launch of the Farizon VE7 electric van.
Jameel Motors wants Yango to connect the brand with fleet operators and small business owners as it expands its dealership network, with a focus on lead generation and brand awareness.
Yango general manager of growth Amy Carr said the VE7 launch proved what the two companies could achieve together.
"We're excited to combine our deep automotive expertise with a results-driven approach to help scale Farizon's footprint and get these incredible EVs into the hands of Australian business owners," Carr said.
Jameel Motors Australia marketing manager Stephen Clark said scaling Farizon locally needed a dedicated team that understood the audience.
"Yango's approach and proven media expertise during the VE7 launch made them the clear choice to help us connect with Australian businesses and hit our aggressive growth milestones," Clark said.
Yango is working with independent creative agency Traffic on the account.
The appointment starts immediately.
