The Momentum team.
Independent strategic creative agency Momentum has been appointed by Optus following a competitive pitch, securing a multi-year agreement to deliver activations across the telco’s national retail network including major product launches.
The win adds to Momentum's existing client portfolio, which includes SAP, Endeavour Group, Heineken, Lion and American Express.
Jen Peace, managing director at Momentum, said the appointment was a step-change for the business.
"We're incredibly proud to partner with Optus at a time when retail is being reimagined as an experience-led channel," she said.
“We've been deliberate about how we grow Momentum, focusing on partnering with ambitious brands where we can create meaningful, commercially impactful work.
"It's a reflection of the confidence in our model and the increasing demand for ideas that connect brand, experience and retail in a more integrated way.”
Lauren Dawber, executive general manager of marketing at Optus, said the retail network was an important way for customers to connect with the brand.
"Momentum's ability to create integrated, high-quality experiences will help us continue evolving our stores and make every customer interaction more engaging, impactful, useful and distinctly Optus," she said.
