Siren Awards

The Siren Awards are held annually by Commercial Radio Australia. The Siren Awards are a national, annual advertising award, designed to encourage excellence and creativity in commercial radio advertising.

The awards program started in 2005 and aims to promote and reward the radio commercials which stand out from the crowd.

The Siren Awards are supported by both the advertising and radio industries and are designed to encourage creative excellence, and provide important peer recognition for writing innovative creative for radio.

Entry into the Siren Awards is free. There are three categories - Radio Single, Radio Campaign (consisting of no less than three commercials) and Radio Craft.

Winners are announced every two months with the annual winner (from the creative categories) automatically entered into the Cannes Radio Lions in June each year – plus awarded a trip for two to the Cannes Lions international Advertising Festival!

There are five rounds in the Siren Awards.  The winning and highly commended entries from each round are judged in the annual Siren Awards that are held in May.
