Independent car rental company Redspot Car Rentals has awarded Brisbane agency BCM to its national creative account, as the company looks to take the competition to larger brands like Avis and Hertz.
BCM won the account after a competitive pitch involving an undisclosed number of agencies, and will commence work on the brand immediately.
Redspot managing director Dan Mekler said: “ We approached BCM to be involved in our pitch as we were impressed with their work.”
“The strategic approach they demonstrated during the pitch was fantastic and we loved the creative recommendations they put forward.”
BCM managing partner Paul Cornwell said: “ Competing against large multinationals such as Avis and Hertz, Redspot is a true challenger brand, and we look forward to working with the Redspot team to increase the brand’s profile across a range of audiences.”
Redspot is located at airports in sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Canberra, as well as the Gold Coast, Cairns, Mackay, Launceston and Hobart. The company's is based out fo Sydney.
