Quest Newspapers appoints editor-in-chief
News Limited has appointed Belinda Hickman-Newton editor in chief of Quest Newspapers. Hickman-Newton is currently assistant features editor on The Sunday Mail in Brisbane. Her most recent project was launch editor of U on Sunday, The Sunday Mail's color magazine launched last year.
Optus launches online community forum
Optus has unveiled 'My Optus Community', an online forum which will allow customers to discuss Optus-related products and services. It will feature a the existing Live Chat platform, as well as a help function, FAQ pages and social media integration.
The Sun-Herald roars with Taronga Zoo
The Sun-Herald will be giving away a Taronga Zoo calendar as part of Fairfax's three year partnership with Taronga Zoo that involves the media company's support of the conservation, fundraising and research initiatives of the zoo.
