Naked Communications global founding partner and co-chairman Jon Wilkins is set to leave Australia, to head off to New York.
Wilkins will remain in the same role, but will now be based out of Naked's New York office.
In today's issue of AdNews (27 January), Wilkins offers his views about the eccentricities of Australia, such as "a winning mentality" and a "love of the new".
He also asks the question, "Why is every small business in Sydney based on a pun?"
Wilkins founded Naked in the UK in 2000, alongside partners John Harlow and Will Colin, who had worked together at media agency PHD. He was brought to Australia to work with Photon Group in its integrated, digital and communications division.
