GroupM's Xaxis beefs-up

GroupM-owned audience buying company Xaxis has bolstered its team with the three key hires.

Timothy Whitfield has been appointed as the director of operations after several positions at digital agency, Facilitate Digital. Ester Carlsen has joined from Yahoo!7 as Xaxis managing director. Both will be based in the Sydney office targeting new business and honing client development strategies.

Meanwhile, former Adconian Media Group brand partnerships manager Meg Thomas has signed up as the new Victorian state manager. Based in Melbourne she will work closely with Suzana Urbanova who has been promoted to NSW and QLD state manager.
