Fairfax Media will next year launch a new online site called Your Daily Life as part of its Womens Network.

The website, which will provide news and lifestyle content for Australian women, joins the nine other sites that are currently part of Fairfax Media's Women's Network including Essential Baby, Essential Kids, Stayz, Life & Style, RSVP, The Vine, Cuisine, Find a Babysitter and Sunday Life

The website will provide readers with a daily mix of news, opinion, food, people, style, beauty, health and relationship content.

As part of the launch, Fairfax Media has appointed Sunday Life editor Sarah Oakes as editor. Having moved to Sunday Life a year ago, Oakes was previously the editor of ACP magazine's Cleo and Pacific Magazine's Girlfriend.

More appointments to the website are yet to be confirmed.

Fairfax Media's Women's Network general manager Melina Cruickshank said: “We already have 2.75 million women visiting our netwokr of sites and we're looking forward to growing that highly engaged audience in 2012.

“We’re really excited to have Sarah on board. She has a ton of energy around this space and will help us create a new and innovative multi-platform voice. Your Daily Life will be the best online source of news and lifestyle content for Australian women,” said Melina Cruickshank, Fairfax Women’s Network General Manager.

Fairfax Media announced the launch of the Women's Network in October in an effort to give advertisers a platform to engage with Australian women at different life stages.
