ARN promotes Smith

SYDNEY: The Australian Radio Network (ARN) has promoted former mediaedge:cia head Adrian Smith as its national sales director – agency.
Smith has been running ARN’s direct sales operation in Melbourne for the past 12 months, after resigning from media agency mediaedge:cia as general manager in late 2008 (NOTE – Cannot access archives, but include link to this story “MEC boss out, APAC strategy head in”).
“We've been developing our sales model to work seamlessly with our strategy and creative teams. Together they make up ARN Solutions, a unique client centric,
strategy-lead, radio solutions model. Adrian now completes this picture,” said Paul Parker, group director of sales at ARN.
Smith moves to Sydney to take up the new role later this month.

SYDNEY: The Australian Radio Network (ARN) has appointed former Mediaedge:cia head Adrian Smith to the newly created role of national sales director agency.

Smith has been running ARN’s direct sales operation in Melbourne for the past 12 months in the position of Melbourne sales director direct, after resigning from media agency Mediaedge:cia as general manager in late 2008.

“We've been developing our sales model to work seamlessly with our strategy and creative teams. Together they make up ARN Solutions, a unique client centric, strategy-lead, radio solutions model. Adrian now completes this picture,” ARN group director of sales Paul Parker said.

Smith moves to Sydney to take up the role later this month.
