BRISBANE: The Outdoor Furniture Specialists has appointed Media Merchants to handle all its media planning and buying equirements and is launching a national TVC campaign this Sunday (26 April).
The $3 million account was awarded to Media Merchants without a pitch, with the client appointing the media agency directly with the aim of driving future growth.
National marketing manager at The Outdoor Furniture Specialists Tony Coster said Media Merchants' expertise in retail advertising "was something that would be central to the success of our broader business growth objectives over the next few years”.
This Sunday's TVC campaign launch will highlight The Outdoor Furniture Specialists' end-of-season clearance sale.
Media Merchants has begun developing the brand’s strategy for the next 12 months. Media director Danny Stickney said there will be some significant changes to The Outdoor Furniture Specialists' marketing strategy.
