Pacific has appointed Mamamia’s Elissa Ratliff to the newly created role of head of audio.

Ratliff had been with Mamamia for more than seven years across various roles. She spent the past three years producing podcasts, most recently in the role of managing producer.

In her new role, Ratliff will oversee the Seven West Media-owned brand’s expanding audio portfolio, including working with the commercial team to identify sponsorship opportunities.

“We’re on track to become the leading women’s podcast network in Australia and have been looking for someone to help lead the charge,” Pacific’s content and brand director Louisa Hatfield says.

“Elissa has a proven and impressive track record launching and managing highly successful podcasts at Mamamia. Her extensive experience in creating popular and award-winning audio products is unbeatable and we’re chuffed she has come on board.”

Pacific currently produces more than 19 podcasts, including New Idea Royals and That’s Life! How I Survived.
