Nike film boosts online community

Nike recuited 30,000 football fans last week for Nike Football Australia on Facebook.
This comes in the wake of Nike's global "Write the future" campaign.
The campaign, released by Nike Inc. and created by W+K Amsterdam, centres on a short film 
that brings together some of the world’s greatest players and attempts to inspire football 
lovers and sports fans around the world.
The three-minute film went online on 20 May, and was then aired across 32 countries, 
including Australia, from 22 May. 
Razor head of digital Jason Dooris, who handles the Nike Australia account, said the spike 
in fans indicates that "Nike have earned their place in the football community".

SYDNEY: Nike's global "Write The Future" campaign has helped drive 30,000 people to the Nike Football Australia Facebook community.

The Nike Football Australia Facebook page has recruited more than 30,000 football fans in the last week off the back of the global campaign.

The campaign, created by Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam, centres on a short film that brings together some of the world’s greatest players and attempts to inspire football lovers and sports fans around the world.
