Angus Keene confirmed as Twitter MD for Australia and NZ

Former Twitter sales director Angus Keene has been appointed managing director of Australia & New Zealand. Keene, who has been acting in the role, will report to Yu Sasamoto, Twitter’s VP of Asia Pacific.

SCA appoints chief people officer
Rebecca Ackland has been appointed chief people and culture officer at SCA. Ackland joined SCA in 2018 in its talent acquisition team, before becoming HR business partner the following year.

Dan Morrison is GM at Optimising
Independent SEO agency Optimising has appointed its first general manager, promoting Dan Morrison following a string of client wins. Morrison has led successful studios in Perth and internationally in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam for over a decade.

Hardhat's Glenn Dalton to Akkomplice
Independent agency Akkomplice has appointed Glenn Dalton its first chief creative officer. Dalton joins the Akkomplice team after three years as the executive creative director of Hardhat, having worked at AJF Partnership and CHE prior to that.

Hogarth expands addressable content team
Hogarth has appointed Omnicom's Alice Hughes addressable lead of Hogarth Australia, and Blake Moseley has been promoted to global head of addressable product.

Ben Clare joins We Are Social as ECD
Creative agency We Are Social has appointed Ben Clare executive creative director. Clare joins We Are Social after most recently holding the role of group creative director at Emotive. Previously, he was creative director at TBWA Sydney, Clemenger BBDO Sydney and Johannes Leonardo in New York

Wunderman Thompson expands national strategy team
Wunderman Thompson Australia has announced the expansion of its national strategy department with two new east coast hires. Jill Manester joins the Melbourne office as head of strategy and Roma Singhal comes on-board as strategy director for Sydney. On the west coast, the growth of the department includes the elevation of Barry Walker to head of strategy of its Perth office.

Clemenger BBDO's new head of PR
Melanie Campbell has been promoted to head of PR & influence at Clemenger BBDO across Melbourne and Sydney. She joined Clemenger BBDO as a business director in December last year. Before that she was an integrated account director at an independent creative and PR agency, Keep Left. 

Rowena Newman joins Publicis Media Exchange
Publicis Groupe’s media investment arm, Publicis Media Exchange (PMX), has appointed Rowena Newman to the new role of head of media intelligence. Newman joins PMX with more than 20 years’ experience in global brand strategy and marketing operations.

Living Image Media boosts management team
Digital out-of-home company Living Image Media is reinventing its retail media business with three key hires. Dean Coates is the  national sales manager, Suzy Parker joins as the group sales manager and Steven swamy joins as chief technology officer.

Kristin Harder joins Cartelux
Leading Australian ad tech company Cartelux has appointed Kristin Harder, Audi's former global head of media manager, as their global head of strategy and partnerships.
