Founder and CEO of digital agency Holler, Mike Hill, has resurfaced, seven months after departing the agency. Hill has a new shop, Aardwolf, and its purpose centres around creating products and businesses for brands.

Aardwolf is founded by Hill and 25Fifteen founders Luke Carruthers and Kim Heras. The new shop describes itself as a business that helps brands quickly launch and test startups, products and services.

“I’m delighted to be working with Luke and Kim. Between them they have set up and exited from over 20 startups. They bring with them a great technical and strategic offering from years of building successful startups. And now under Aardwolf we’re showing brands how they can do something similar,” Hill says.

Aardwolf will focus on brand-funded startups for Australian consumers and is working on two major brand-funded projects, which aim to launch in 2017.

Hill founded digital shop Holler and stayed with the agency for 10 years. At the time of his departure, he told AdNews: “I've gone from flash designer to CEO and it's time to try and do it all again.”

Not only will this new agency help brands launch their own startups, the shop has its own startup in development, which is also slated to launch in 2017.
