Hyland Media is undertood to have won the the $3 million media account for Travel Insurance Direct, without a pitch.

It is understood that previously Bohemia acted for the insurance company on a consultancy basis working on strategic planning, although it was never appointed to the account.

Travel Insurance Direct currently handles most of its buying direct.

Hyland Media has been developing its creative capability and boosting its social media teams of late, which could have some bearing on the business moving.

Bohemia is thought to be on the shortlist for the pitch for rival insurance firm iSelect. ZenithOptimedia, Ikon, Maxus and Slingshot are also thought to be in the mix.
