If this video doesn't put a smile on your face then we don't know what will. While some of the human behaviour we witness day to day leaves us wondering if we are all doomed, this video highlights humans being awesome.

People will go to great lengths to protect ducks; stopping traffic, catching ducklings as they jump from the roof or letting your mates hold you by the ankles while you dangle down a man-hole to save a baby duck. Let's face it, ducks are cute and nobody wants see the untimely demise of a family of waddlers.

It's not until the end of the video that you find out that this is an animal rights ad created by Animals Australia. By playing with our heart strings, the organisation is imploring the Victorian Government to change hunting legislation. We have all become accustomed to the hard-hitting, gruesome and uncomfortable imagery that is usually associated with these kinds of ads, so this one is a nice change.

The video has been watched 88 million times and you can watch it below.
