Designed for Giving: Country Road launches 2020 corporate gifting range

From our branded mugs to tote bags and of course, our iconic summer beach towels. The colour palette is vibrant and modern. We took inspiration directly from the Australian landscape with sun-kissed and sun-bleached pastels.”

The goal in creating this collection was to say thank you and celebrate the people in our network with something practical yet sentimental. “It was a joy to create this beautifully curated edit. This year, more than ever, it’s essential to connect with our friends and colleagues to let them know we’re thinking of them and appreciate them,” says Maria.

Another focus when building this collection on the Country Road website, was to acknowledge the customer mindset throughout this challenging year. With remote working becoming the industry norm, people are experiencing a physical disconnect from their colleagues. This sentiment was taken into account by Country Road’s Marketing Manager, Paul Conti, who felt it was more important than ever to make this year’s catalogue accessible, convenient and personal. “We identified how important it is to foster team spirit and a sense of connection during these times, so our goal was to create an online catalogue that’s easy to navigate and allows for a more personalised gifting experience.” 

With most people celebrating the holidays in their own backyard, it was important that this year’s gifting collection reflected a quintessential Australian summer, while also nodding to Country Road’s heritage. Throughout the collection you will find the iconic Country Road Clothing Co logo—A design inspired by a vintage beach towel from the brand’s archives. It has been replicated in the range, with the nostalgic logo reimagined across tote bags and cosmetic bags.

One final piece of advice from Maria on gifting this year is to ‘keep it simple, and add an extra special touch by utilising our personalisation service.’ Gifts can be embroidered with initials, names or your company’s logo.
